Some great running took place in Hartington tonight. Alexis Bodlak medaled with a 9th place finish for varsity girls while Nathan Breitbarth medaled in his varsity boys race with 8th place. Congrats to Kairece Morris who won the Jr. High girls race! Go Pendragons!

PRESCHOOL PARENTS: PPS preschool will be closed tomorrow Friday, August 28th through Wednesday, September 9th. We will reopen on Thursday, September 10th. The closure is due to a staff COVID exposure and the limited availability of substitutes. At this time, preschool students have not been exposed. Logan View has announced that due to Covid-19, they are only allowing 140 visitor fans for next week’s volleyball game. If you’re interested in attending, please contact Coach Ostrand or the school office to reserve your seat. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 children.

Today is the last day of the summer break, which means the 2020-2021 school year starts TOMORROW!! Hopefully students are excited to come back, because PPS staff members are thrilled for them to be back! It has been WAY too long since school was last in session, and everyone at the school is very excited to get the school year started!
Here are a few reminders…
1. School will be dismissed tomorrow at 1:00 pm
2. Please do NOT arrive before 8:00 am.
3. Breakfast will be grab and go and will be eaten in the classrooms.
4. Facial coverings will be required. If you have one, please put it on before entering the building. If you do not have one, one will be available when you arrive!
Again, everyone at PPS looks forward to seeing you and can’t wait to get the school year started!
