Congrats to Pender Junior Michaela Wegner & Freshman Carson Miller for earning OWH Class B All-State Honorable Mention in softball!!

The Pendragon Football Team won their first round playoff game against #3 GACC last night. They now play on Wednesday, November 1 at 4 pm in Johnson, Nebraska. A group of fans are trying to determine if there are people interested in a fan bus. The bus will cost $25.50 per person. Anyone interested should contact Mandy Johnson at 402-922-1073 asap. The bus needs to be reserved soon to ensure availability. Thanks and go pendragons!!

Last week in 4th grade we learned all the tricks of making movies through Journeys and guided reading, one of those tricks being a green screen. This week, we practiced using a green screen in our media classroom with Mr. Welsh.

This week in 4th grade, we are participating in a program called “On My Own and OK”. The UNL extension is providing guidance to students about being at home alone and making decisions to stay safe, which includes internet safety.

What do all those test scores mean? Declutter you Data! Elementary Computer Lab @ 4:00, 6:00, and 8:00 pm tonight!

There will be no after school program tonight due to parent-teachers conferences beginning at 3 pm.

We would like to remind you that tomorrow there is no preschool. There is a 2:30 dismissal for kindergarten - 12th grade and Parent-Teacher conferences will beginning at 3 pm and go until 9 pm. Student data sessions will be held in the computer lab at 4 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm. The Scholastic book fair will be open tomorrow as well from 3 pm - 9 pm. We would love to see all of you tomorrow evening! Friday, October 27th there is no school. Thank you and have a great evening.

The FB team will travel to Beemer to face GACC in the 1st round of the D1 Football Playoffs. This is a rematch of the final week of the regular season. Game time is 7:00 on Thursday, October 26th.

Congrats to Faith Morris on her run today. She ran a time of 23:41, placing her 86th in the Class D state meet

1st quarter Pride Assembly

We are excited to have John Underwood with our junior high/high school students on Monday. John Underwood is an internationally known speaker who does many presentations about making healthy choices about sleep, eating, physical activity and substance use. He delivers an evidence based message to youth about how to be their best by making wise choices.
