The Spring 2018 NSCAS Summative Test results were recently received from the Nebraska Department of Education. Those results will coming home today in Thursday Folders for 4-6 students and will be mailed home for HS students. There is a video on our Pender Public Schools Facebook page that will provide you with some general information about the test. Also, please remember due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday there is NO afterschool program today and NO school on Thursday and Friday. School resumes on Monday, November 26th. Happy Thanksgiving!!

This is what Thanksgiving means to us. ❤️ $1500 raised by our staff and tons of food donated by our students in our Thanksgiving Challenge. All the proceeds are going to the Pender Ministerium/local food bank. Giving back to them is an honor because they do so much for us!

Each year over 3,000 of the best high school musicians in the state audition for Nebraska All State Choir and two Pender students have been selected to be among the 440 selected to take part in this amazing experience. Pender Public Schools is having a food drive to help stock the local food pantry prior to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We will accept donations from now until Friday. Nov. 16th. If possible, please encourage your children to bring at least 2 items for the food pantry to school during this time. The items most needed are canned meats, hot or cold cereal, canned soups, mac and cheese, spaghettio's, hamburger helper, peanut butter, jelly, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap and also items for holiday meals (stuffing, cranberries, sweet potatoes, instant mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, pumpkin, corn, etc.). Any and all help would be appreciated. Let’s show them some real PENDRAGON spirit! Thank you!
