Today's Lunch Menu Is.... Goulash, Bun, Vegetable and Fruit.

Digital Citizenship Week... This week is digital citizenship week. Today's theme is Sock it to Cyberbullies! 34% of students say they have been cyberbullied. 64% of them say it impacted them in school. Remember you can be punished in school and by law enforcement for cyberbullying. So BE KIND and ALWAYS be a responsible digital citizen. Be the One!

Congratulations... Congratulations to Dylan Vogt for being named KTIC Animal of the Week for his performance against Cedar Bluffs.

Kindness Challenge... Mr. Volk’s advisory group would like to challenge Pender students and staff to be more positive! It can be difficult at this time of year to keep our heads up for the end of 1st Quarter, especially since the weather is so dreary and the fall activities are winding down. By doing simple things such as using positive phrases like “I CAN do this” and “I GET to do this” and focusing on the good in each day and each other, our attitudes could change completely. Our attitudes have a domino effect in academics and extracurricular activities, so work extra hard to lift up your classmates, teachers, coaches, and teammates!
