Due to the highly unusual and potentially dangerous weather forecasted for later today, Pender Public Schools will be dismissing at 1:15 pm. Buses WILL run their normal routes. There is no afternoon preschool. Thank you for your understanding in this highly unusual situation.

Good afternoon, Due to the forecast of dangerously high winds and the possibility of thunderstorms on Wednesday, Dec. 15. Pender Public Schools will NOT run afternoon bus or van routes. With the potential of strong sustained winds and 75mph wind gusts we felt it is not safe to have students and drivers on the roads in these high profile vehicles. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause but wanted to give each family the opportunity to make plans.
