Pender Public Schools has identified a suspected case of mumps today, Friday, August 30, 2019. This case has NOT been confirmed. Testing has taken place and the results will be confirmed in 1-4 days. School personnel have and will continue to take precautions within the building to help prevent the virus from spreading. Please do not send your child to school if they exhibit signs and symptoms of the mumps. Public Health officials encourage you not to panic, but rather be proactive, communicate any concerns, and take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.

The Pendragon Football team kicks off their season tonight at Winnebago. Kickoff will be at 7:00 pm. Good luck!

The Vipers softball team takes care of Madison/HLHF 14-1 in 3 innings. Saturday is the Viper Invite in Wisner! Game 1 is @ 10am.

Congratulations to our individual medalists at today’s Cross-Country meet in Hartington! Paige Steinman 1st, Piper Steinman 3rd, Jessica Krueger 9th, Alexis Bodlak 13th, and Nathan Breitbarth 12th on the boys’ side. Special Congrats to the girl’s team who were Runner-Ups of the meet! Great first meet!
