Pender Volleyball advances to the sub district championship game with a 3-1 victory over Wakefield! They will now play BRLD Tuesday night at 7:00 in Bancroft.

Attached are a couple reminders for tonight’s Sub district VB game at Bancroft. Also, NO passes (EHC, Pender passes) will be accepted due to this being a NSAA event.

Reminder Calendar Change: Monday, October 26 is a 2:30 pm dismissal for K-12th. Preschool will dismiss at 3:30 pm but will follow a normal Wednesday dismissal procedure for children who ride the bus. Wednesday, October 28 is now be a normal dismissal day for preschool - 12th grade.

Alexis Bodlak completes a successful season at the state cross-country meet in Kearney today. Running one of her fastest times on a tough course. And seeing some familiar faces along the way! Congratulations, Alexis!

Red Ribbon Week takes place each year from October 23rd - October 31st. Join us in our mission to help keep kids drug-free. Dress up your student each day next week to support being drug free.

If you planned on attending the State XC send off for Alexis and the Playoff football send off, please be outside door 6, the door that exits the building south to the playground. There will be more room to spread out on the playground. See you at 1:00pm!

We are doing a send off Thursday at 1:00pm for Alexis qualifying for State Cross Country in Kearney and the football team qualifying for the D-2 Playoffs in Osceola. If you are a parent and are planning on attending, please stay outside the building by door #1 and wear a mask!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21st there is no school for preschool. Kindergarten - 12th will dismiss at 2:30 pm with Parent-Teacher Conferences beginning at 3 pm. Elementary conferences are scheduled using SignUp Genius and can be done in person or via zoom. High School conferences will proceed as usual. If you are not comfortable with an in person conference please contact the teacher. Friday, October 23rd is a no school day.
