The 96th National FFA Convention is in Session! We are so excited to announce that your Pender FFA Chapter is 7th in the Nation in Farm and Agribusiness Management Career Development Event! Team Members: Mason Bodlak, Alex Roth, Rylie Bonneau, and Caleb Kelly. Caleb Kelly also made a huge achievement of placing 4th out 200 competitors. These students hard work and talents paid off!
Congratulations to Cooper Randall and Adam Cadwallader! These two upset the Smash team from Alma to qualify for the fall state tournament! Great job! Our other two esports teams will play November 9 to see if they can also punch their ticket to state.

DeMoine Adams gave an inspirational talk to the high school students for Red Ribbon Week! He had to have a picture with the seniors and also took home a Pender sweatshirt curtesy of his former teammate, Mr. Volk!

The first graders enjoyed a pumpkin challenge after reading the story "Spookely the Square Pumpkin" this week!🎃 Day 1 consisted of working together to make a plan of how to stop a small pumpkin from rolling down a piece of cardboard. Day 2 was their building day where they constructed their creations with their group. Thank you to Jennifer Hansen and Sydney Williams from the Nebraska Extension Office for creating this challenge for our kiddos!
