It is time for this week’s “ Who’s Who.” Listen up for some facts about this PPS staff member. Her position at the school is a extra special. Also, this staff member has worked here for 7 years.
This who’s who attended Emerson Hubbard High School. She went to Wayne State College and Concordia University. When she was in high school, she did many activities. For example, band: pep, concert and jazz, one act plays, high school play, pep club, FHA, FBLA.
Other than teaching, this “who’s who” had many jobs. She was a waitress, retail associate, telemarketer, child care provider, and even a line worker at an egg processing plant.
When this PPS staff member is out of school, she will spend time with family, travel, read, and go shopping. When on vacation, she wants to go to someplace sunny and sandy. Doesn’t that sound perfect this time of year? The reason that this staff member likes sun and sand is because she likes the relaxation when traveling to these locations.
If this secret staff member had a chance for a different job she wouldn’t take because teaching is what this staff member has devoted her life to for the last 30 years. She feels knowledgeable and loves watching students divide, conquer, and rejoice in their learning, but when you get in trouble, her biggest pet peeve is when people make excuses for their behaviors.
Finally, when this PPS staff member was growing up, her favorite school memory is graduating from high school. She said that it made her feel like she made it. She knew what she put in her education would be a reward in her life.
