Kindness Challenge... This week Mrs. Athey’s advisory group challenges Pender students and staff to have an attitude of gratitude. Gratitude helps you see what is there, instead of what is not. Make a list of what you are thankful for and put it where you see it often. Being thankful helps shift our perspective and helps us focus on what is positive. Studies show that having an attitude of gratitude will also help decrease feelings of fear and anxiety. One of the best ways to work on gratitude is the use of “thank you.” Thank people for helping you and thank people for the opportunity to help them.
