Students that are 16 years old and in general good health may choose to donate. One blood donation can save 3 lives! Please see Mrs. Von Seggern to sign up for a time to donate! Students who donate blood three times before graduation will earn Donor of Distinction and become eligible for a scholarship. First time donors will receive a t-shirt. Thanks for considering being a lifesaving blood donor.

Kindness Challenge... This week Mr. King's Advisory Group wants to focus on positive interactions in the hallways, saying good morning, good afternoon, hello, etc. to at least one person between classes during passing periods. We challenge students to put their technology away while in the hallways and keep their head up between classes, to step out of their comfort zones and say hello to a staff member instead of avoiding them as you walk by. Remember, “One kind word a day can change someones entire day.” A simple hello may completely change someones day for the better. Also, “Be nice to someone for no reason. You never know when you’re going to need someone to be nice to you for no reason.” It doesn’t take much to say hello or good morning to someone and it may mean the world to whoever needs to hear it.
