1st Grade

Mrs. Nitzschke has taught first grade in Pender for 37 years. (This is her 38th year).
She has 18 students. Twelve are girls and six are boys. They're enjoying their new math series. The first graders find it challenging but it is very hands on and fun to work with. They love reading and listening to stories. The first graders are off to a great start. They're looking forward to having a lot of fun learning new and exciting things as the year progresses.
