Red Ribbon Week
October 19 - October 23
The National Honor Society will be hosting Red Ribbon Week the week of October 19-23. There will be many activities planned that week at school. In the past we have been very fortunate to have a great deal of participation from the student body. Just to make you aware of what is going on that week, I have sent home an agenda to help prepare ahead of time for the students. Thank you for your cooperation.
Monday – students can dress up like their favorite rock star or wear a head band to “band against drugs”
Tuesday – students can wear slippers to”give drugs the slip”
** please have students bring their slippers to school in a bag and
change into them
once they arrive so they have shoes for recess and PE
Wednesday – students can wear a team jersey to “team up against
drugs”
Thursday - students can wear a cap (the crazier the better) to send
the message “put a cap on drugs”
Friday – wear RED rally day.
**We will be collecting food items for the Health and Human
Services Department. This will be done on Thursday morning in the
atrium. Please have your students bring non-perishable food items
to donate to the local Health and Human Services.
Let’s have a great week and give our
students a message to SAY NO TO DRUGS!!!!!!
