Pender vs Lyons - Decatur Northeast Game

Last Friday night was another close game for the Dragons, but they came up short with a final score Pender 40 - L-D NE 46. Pender did however, come out of this game with no turnovers. 

By the end of the second quarter, the Cougars were up 24-12, but the Dragons fought back and scored two touchdowns in a row, making the score 24-20. The Cougars however, fought back just a hard and scored another touchdown, putting them ahead by 10 points.

At the start of the second half, L-D NE scored another touchdown, leading them with a score of 38 - 30. After a long journey to win the game, the Dragons fell short, with the final score of 46 - 40.

Bret Meyer and Nick Crippen led the Dragons on defense. Jonathan S. completed 50% of his passes for 188 yards and four touchdowns. He too, rushed 20 times for a total of 109 yards, and two more touchdowns. 

This Friday, the Dragons will be on the road, playing in Howells. Come wish them luck!
