Pender vs. Winside Game

It was another close game on September 19, but the Dragons fell short in double overtime to the Winside Wildcats with a final score of 36-30.
Pender was ahead by half time, up 16-12, due to great effort by Jonathan S., making two touchdowns, and Brady N. making both PATs.
By the end of the fourth quarter, Pender had fallen behind, with a score of 30-22. With 11 seconds left, Jonathan S. made another touchdown, and Chris S. made the PAT, tying the score 30-30.
In the first overtime of the night, neither teams could manage to score. In the second overtime, Winside managed to score the final six points of the game, allowing them to win.
This week, the Dragons will be traveling to Lyons, to face the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars. The game will begin at 7:00 Friday night. Come cheer on the team!
