MATH STUDENTS TRAVEL TO WAYNE

Math Contest of 10 Pender Students

Ten students participated in the math contest at Wayne State College on Wednesday, April 23rd.

There were 28 schools from Nebraska and Iowa. The schools were divided into small schools (c2-D) and large schools (A-C1). The studendents completed a 50-minute 40 question exam. The following is a list of the number of students in each division: Algebra 1-52; Geometry-52; Algebra 2-50; PreCalculus-47; Calculus-30.

Christopher Dahlman received a 2nd place medal in the small school section of Algevra 2. First place was Erin Beutler from Bancroft Rosalie.

Conner Heise received a 3rd place medal in the small school section of PreCalculus. First place was Kendra Heimes of Hartingion.

Kayci Allen placed in 4th place certificate in the small school section of Calculus. First place was Brad Anson of Lawton Bronson.
