RIBBONS FOR STUDENTS
Conference Art Show

Creative minds and hands were rewarded on February 1 and
February 2. The
East Husker Conference Art Show was held in Logan View. This year
only 10 senior high art students had entered the conference and
only seven junior high students. However, Pender High was still
able to submit 36 entries into the art show.
Taylor Krusemark, an eighth grader, was awarded the Best Of Show for the junior high. Rachel Dahlman and Dillon Fendrick were both given red ribbons for their pieces. The final junior high student to have attained ribbons was Jordan VandeBurg with two whites.
The senior high students had five blue ribbons: Asia Johnson, Chris Schrieber, and Sandra Droessigk were all awarded one blue ribbon. Jake Buchholz achieved two blue ribbons for his separate pieces. Also, Daniel Kent was rewarded a red ribbon.
