On January 29, the Dragon Boys Basketball opened up conference play with the Stanton Mustang. Pender beat the Mustangs 65-42 to move on to the semi-finals. There, the Dragons faced the Oakland-Craig Knights. The Dragons fell to Oakland, 70-55. In the third place game, Pender took on the West Point-Bemmer Cadets. Pender avenged their early season loss to the Cadets with a 65-53 win to capture third place.

Against Stanton, the leading scorer was Josh B. with 16 points. Eric D. led in rebounding with 13 boards. Matt S. led the team assists with nine. Defensively, Matt S. had two steals. The Dragons went 12-20 from the line.
