JUNIOR HIGH GIRLS START SEASON
Open With Homer and Emerson-Hubbard

The Junior High girls basketball team started their season off with Homer on January 7 and Emerson-Hubbard on January 15. Against Homer, the "B" team lost to Homer 40-30 and the "A" team lost 49-30. At Emerson, the "B" team lost 27-17 and the "A" team won 43-25.
Against Homer, Tiffani Morgan was leading scorer for the "B" team with 12 points. Angie Dunn posted 10 points of her own. The "A" teams leading scorer was Rachael Dahlman with 15 points. Lexi Henschke came in second with 13 points.
Against Emerson, the "B" team's leading scorers were Tiffani M. and Vaida Roth with eight points a piece. Tiffani M. had 13 rebounds and two assists. Defensively, Jordan VandeBurg had three blocks, and Angie D. and Jayde Benson had one steal a piece.
The "A" team's leading scorer was Lexi H. with 20 points. Rachael D. was the second leading scorer with 11 points. Lexi H. had 15 rebounds and Chelsea Brinkman had two assists. On defense, Whitney Kaser had one block and Christina Smith had eight steals.
