BOB CLOUGH TOURNAMENT

Dragons Place Second

On January 4 and 5, the Dragons took the little trek to Emerson for the Bob Clough Tournament. The Dragons placed second, beating Emerson-Hubbard 60-56 in the first round and losing to Wakefield 52-50 in the championship game.

 

Against the Pirates, Josh B. put up yet another double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Matt S. was second leading scorer with 13. The Dragon with the most generosity was Connor H. with five assists. Josh B. had three blocks and Connor H. had four steals. Pender went 27-43 from the free-throw line.

Against the Trojans, Matt S. had 13 points and nine rebounds. Connor H. was second with 12 points. Josh B. suffered a sprain ankle in the second quarter witch kept him out of most of the game. Brant Wichman was the assist leader with three. Defensively, Josh B. was able to get three blocks and Matt S. and Connor H. had two steals a piece. From the line, the Dragons hit only 12-22.
