WRESTLERS HEAD TO CREIGHTON

In the Creighton Tournament, the Dragons’ wrestling team placed ninth overall.
Robert D. placed first in his weight class. He won his first match by technical fall, 19-2, and won his semi-final round by 4-2 decision. Robert D. then beat Josh Scranton of Plainview by a 6-3 decision. Jase J. took third in class, winning his first by 17-0 technical fall but lost his second match. In the consolation bracket, Jase J. won his semi-final match by 6-2 decision and beat Tim Roland of Neligh-Oakdale by a pin in the finals. Brenn K. also placed third. Robbie Thomsen and Blake K. placed fifth.
