HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT

The Northeast Nebraska Holiday tournament that was held in Wayne was on December 27-29. The Lady dragons competed in three games. They first faced Elkhorn Valley on Thursday. The top scorer in the game was Shandi T., with 8 points. Throughout the game, the varsity team had 21 total rebounds. After the loss to Elkhorn Valley, the girls then faced Valentine.
The top scorers of the game verse Valentine were Shandi T. and Celsey W. Shandi T. scoring 9, Celsey scoring 8. Celsey W. had 3 assists throughout this game. Senior Amanda V. was injured during the third quarter. Her injury of a sprained ankle will temporary sideline her. Dedicated senior will be up and ready in no time. The ending score of the game was 34-43.
Lastly the team faced the Lady Pirates. Celsey W. led the team with 16 points. Leading the team with rebounds was Kelsey. The troop had to play with out their starting senior Amanda V. The ending score was 23-38.
