CROSS COUNTRY TRAVELS TO LOGAN VIEW

The Pender Runners had a successful meet at Logan View. It was a new interesting course with many trees!
The girls ran first at 5 pm. Shandi Thomsen was successful in breaking the 19 minute barrier. She ran a 18:56 and placed 12th! Hannah Bowder ran a 20:37!
The boys ran at 5:30. There were 57 total runners. Jay Schrader ran a 20:41. Nolan Persson from West Point-Beemer took 1st place with a time of 18:37.
Champion went to Wisner-Pilger with 30 points, and runner up went to West-Point Beemer with 35 points.
State Cross Country is at Kearney on October 19.
