FUN DURING 5TH
5th Quarter Hosted by FFA

Fifth Quarter, sponsored by FFA, was held after the game on September 28. The evening was fun for everyone who attended. There were roughly 75 people in the gym on Friday night. Some of the attendees played volleyball and others played dodge ball. In different spots around the Heese Event Center card games were being played. There was also music for the students' listening pleasure. The concession stand was open with pizza, pop, and candy available for purchase. The Pender FFA is planning to have two more 5th Quarters before the end of this school year. The earliest one is scheduled is on November 9. This 5th Quarter will be inside the Bowling Alley. The last 5th Quarter won't be until January 25, and it will be at the Heese Event Center.
The FFA has many events coming their way. Land Judging will be on October 10. A big event for the Pender FFA Chapter is their annual fruit sales which start on October 16. In late October the National FFA Convention will be in Indianapolis, Indiana on the 24.
