Dragons Suffer First Loss Of The Season To L-C

On September 28, the Dragons were handed their first loss of the year to the Laurel-Concord Bears, 33-8.
On offense for the Dragons, the rushing leader for the game was running back Matt S., who had 13 carries for 95 yards and one touchdown. Through the air, quarterback Joey G. completed eight of 16 passes for 155 yards and two picks. Leading in receiving was also Matt S. with two catches for 55 yards. Jared J. also had a good night at tight end with two catches for 50 yards.
On defense, the Dragons were led by Brant W. recorded 11 solos and three assists. Jared J. came in behind Brant W. with seven solos and two assists.
On the special teams, Matt S. punted the ball three times for 94 yards. Kicking for Pender was Daniel K., who totaled two kicks for 93 yards. Returning kicks for the Dragons were Grant F. and Connor H. Grant F. had two returns for 57 yards and Connor H. had three returns for 29 yards.
The Dragons' next game is away against the Emerson-Hubbard Pirates. So make the short trip to Emerson and support the Pender Pendragons!
