SWINGING AT OAKLAND
Oakland-Craig Dual

On Monday, September 17, the girls' golf team traveled to Oakland for the O-C Dual. It was a windy and dry day, but Mrs. Von said that the practice is beginning to pay off. Over all the Pender team shot a 239, only 4 points behind Oakland-Craig's 235. Kayci Allen had the lowest round of the dual with a 49, and Alaynna Henschke captured the second lowest round with her 52 points. Megan Heise set a new personal record with her 58 points.
Also, Amber Howell did much better this year on the Oakland course with 80 points above par. Their next golf meet will be on September 20 at Tekamah.
