Mrs. Maise was #24, now let's move on to #25.

It’s time for a “Who’s Who” in Pender Schools. This week’s  “Who’s Who” is without a doubt going to trick you all. This person is in a very important position at PPS. This “Who’s Who” also has been working here for 13 years!

This important person attended school at Stanton High School. After high school, he went to the University of Nebraska Lincoln to earn his Bachelor’s Degree. After this secret staff member graduated from UNL, he went to Doane College to get his Master’s Degree, and he also he went to Wayne State College, which is how he got his Specialist’s Degree. Lastly, this secret staff member also went to the University of South Dakota to get his Doctorate degree. WOW! That’s a lot of degrees!

This “Who’s Who” has been in a lot of activities. While he was in high school, he was involved in Football, Basketball, Track, One Act, Band, National Honor Society, and Student Council. Speaking of basketball, this person happens to be a youth coach for Pender. I hope that will give you a clue (WINK WINK).

This week’s ”Who’s Who”  has had a lot of jobs. For example, he was a high school principal and coach for Pender, and a math teacher and coach for Norfolk, also a math teacher and, you guessed it, a coach at Grand Island. He also worked as a bank teller and an employee for Best Buy Prep. He was also a Pro Shop Employee in Lincoln, and a lifeguard, plus a construction worker and a lawn mower while living in Stanton.

His interests outside of school are being with his friends and family, coaching his daughters in basketball and softball, and also watching his daughters play sports and perform (Dance, Musical, etc.) He's interested in golf, fishing, and hunting (mostly deer, ducks, pheasants, and dove).

This Secret Staff Member also has a pet peeve which is complaining when nothing can be done to change the situation. But, this week’s Who’s Who has a favorite place he likes to go. His favorite vacation [so far] was with his family to Wisconsin Dells. The reason he liked it was because there was always something to do from the time they arrived to the time they left.  Man, I bet that was a lot of fun!

This person said if he could have another job it would be a PGA Golfer because he loves golfing and he also said it would be awesome to be paid to golf. Another reason he’d like to be a pro golfer is professional golfers get a LOT of clothing and equipment.

Finally, this week’s Who’s Who has a favorite school memory of when he was 15 as a sophomore playing basketball with his brother, Jon. He and his team made it to the state finals. The game came down to the wire and this ‘Week’s Who’ is credited with making the game winning shot. Stop by his office for the whole story and see a picture of him on the front page of the Omaha World Herald! So I hope you can play up an idea on who it might be. Good Luck!!
