Who’s Who
This week’s “Who’s Who”, is an interesting and exciting PPS member. The first fact that describes this staff member is that this person has been working here for 4 years. It doesn't sound like a long time, but they have been involved in a lot in Pender. Outside, of their school time, they have to take care of two kids and a husband. She likes to do anything outdoors which includes sports and spending time with her family on the farm. And obviously, she likes to go shopping at the mall.
This staff member went to Leigh Community Schools. While in elementary school, she liked to play a game called, PomPom Pull Away with her friends at recess. Maybe, at the next school assembly we could have the game for an event and she could demonstrate. She also had a couple of jobs that includes babysitting, mowing and landscaping, and helping on the pig farm. This PPS staff was involved in Basketball, Volleyball, Track, Band/Choir, and FFA in high school. After graduating, she went to college at University of Nebraska-Kearney where she played basketball, and then she went to Peru State while she was teaching to get her Master’s.
It seems to me that if this PPS member, could do something else other than teaching, she would like to be a veterinarian. She has always loved animals and hated to see animals in pain. I’ve even heard they call her the dog whisperer.
I hope these clues help you find out who this staff member is. Maybe while you’re walking up Norris Street you will figure out who this “Who’s Who,” is.
